Status 
Gateshead Borough Youth Organisations Council is a charitable organisation and is governed by its Constitution.  Charity number 512712.

Trustees 
The Committee of the charitable organisation are its trustees for the purpose of charity law and throughout this report are referred to as Board of Trustees.  As set out within the Constitution, members of the Board of Trustees are elected at the Annual General Meeting, which is held in the month of May, and shall retire annually.

Volunteers
Volunteers make a remarkable contribution to GYC. There are too many volunteers that it is impractical to list them all but they are outstanding. Working in groups organising events, assisting in the office or working on projects, giving many hours each week and helping to shape the organisation.  They are a real inspiration and their contributions and thoughts are invaluable.
